Family Fun Comedy Night
7pm - 10th September 2011
This was our final goodbye to all our friends and family and lots of Toby’s school friends came to say their good byes and enjoyed “Alan Reed” and pie n mash supper. Then we cut the CHOCCYWOCCYDOODAH cake which really made Toby’s night and danced away until midnight. Thank you to all of you that have supported us from the beginning, we couldn’t have done it without you x

WOW !!!! what can I say, a staggering £5500 was raised thanks to all the hard work and efforts of my fantastic Uncle Terry! And Thanks to Uncle Will and Mark for running the races it was great fun (Not that I won) A special thanks to everyone that came and bought some lovely raffle prizes and to Mark Wright for opening the raffle it was super!

Tuesday 16th August
Thanks to all the yummy mummys and nannys that took park in the sponsored walk, you help to raise just over £900 ! :) Well don’t to all those little children that took part and had fun at the teddy bears picnic after.

Fun Sunday at The Snow Centre
14th August - Hemel Snow Centre
A great day of family fun, with classic cars, hot rods, driving school, snowboarding simulators, and karts. Thanks to the Snow Centre for organising the event. We raised over £500.

Carwash
13th August
Wow, what an amazing day. Thanks to Fire Fighter Chris Meadows we had the pleasure of spending several hours with the Team from Hoddesdon Fire Station washing cars for The Fire Fighters Charity and Toby’s Dream. Everyone was out in uniform as well as friends and family and even Toby was washing cars. We washed over 130 cars and raised an amazing £1252.50 !!!! Thank you to everyone who had their car washed. Streetwise Summer Ball
A massive thank you to Glyn, Richard, Sue & Gary for inviting us along to their awards evening, Toby was absolutely over the moon with his trophy for bravery and his voucher for a 1-2-1 session with Richard. Your continued support means the world to us and Toby’s feels like part of your team. The strength and determination each and everyone of you have is amazing. Fab Pamper Party!
Thanks to Nicky Martin we had a lovely relaxed day in the garden (Thunder and lightening permitting) drinking Pimms and eating Cream Scones while we were waiting for our treatments. Thanks to all the ladies that came along and hope you all enjoyed being pampered, we raised £200 on the raffle.

Saturday 23rd July - Cassiobury Park
Such wonderful friends! Class mates and parents gathered at Cassiobury Park in Watford for a 2 mile walk (Toby cheated and did it on his bike). We had a lovely strole followed by a picnic.
You guys raised over £950.

Two fantastic nights of fundraising with the wonderfully crazy gang at Kaos. Thanks to everyone that helped organise these evenings - you raised a hair curling £2500 for Toby’s Dream

Longdean School Walk for Toby’s Dream
Beth Luck, a pupil at the school, presented Toby’s Dream to her piers during school assemblies and gained favour with them as they selected Toby as their worthy community cause. 1200 pupils took part in a 10km sponsored walk and raised over a staggering £5000.

We shall never be able to thank the staff and pupils enough for helping Toby’s Dream become Toby’s reality. The 10km that you walked will help Toby to walk for a lifetime. You are very special.

Kids Fun Day - 10th July
We had lots of fun and games the best cake stall you have ever seen. We raised £1100. A big thanks to everyone who helped on stalls, Scott at Adeyfield Community Centre, Lee Goulding for donating the meat for the BBQ and all the kids for coming along and spending their pocket money. Thanks everyone

THE HOT RODS FULL MONTY
OH WHAT A NIGHT!
Thanks to all the lovely ladies that turned up for Drew Christies Full Monty Show last Friday. The Coach and Ace were the show stoppers and Drew had everyone on their feet singing and dancing. We raised a whopping £1558 for Tobys dream through ticket sakes and raffle prizes and donations on the night

OMG - How fantastic were our riders. Congratulations to the Toby’s Dream riders. Well done to Samuel, Uncle Neil and Sally for completing the 56 mile trip form London to Brighton - you are all awesome!

Claddagh Live Irish Music Night
Thank you to Jackie Loudon and Claddagh Irish Music for raising a fabulous £325.07 on the raffle on Saturday at the Live music event at Adeyfield Community Centre. And we would like to thank everyone that donated prizes.

Now that’s Stamina - Sunday 5th June 2011
After 4 and a half hours Richard, Gary and their team of over 20 well trained Streetwise members completed their 100 x 2 minute rounds. Thanks to everyone that took part and to Boxmoor Arts Centre for donating the hall. You guys have raised over £1900 and still counting. Toby thinks you are all amazing. Well done.

Bungeeeeeee! - Saturday 4th June 2011
Who’d have thought fund raising would be soooo scary!
Our crazy bungee jumpers David Stride and Kelly and Terry Urch braved the heights and threw themselves towards earth raising a massive £1130 for Toby’s Dream. Thanks to everyone that supported the event. You can see their jumps by clicking here

Potten End Cricket Club
6-a-SIDE CHALLENGE TROPHY
Sunday 29th May 2011
A fantastic days cricket was enjoyed by local teams competing in the PECC 6-a-side tournament.
A PECC side eventually won a well contested final against a team from The Plough at Potten End.
After the cricket a great evening was had by all in The Plough with a live session from The Shindigz,
plus raffle and auction organised by Uncle Jason.

AUCTION at The Oddfellows Arms, Apsley - Sunday 29th May
WOW - Great support, thank you soooo much.
Once again Tina and David hosted a great evening at The Oddfellows Arms. Thanks to everyone that helped out.

We would also like to thank all of those individuals and organisations that supported the event by supplying auction items. Well done to everyone that bagged themselves a bargain. You helped raise a magnificent £1650

Saturday 30th April – A Right Royal Knees Up, Chingford Mason Hall
I would like to say a personal thanks to my Dad, Bob Urch for organising this event, as usual he went all out and everyone had a fantastic night. The hall was decorated in celebration of The Prince & Princess of Cambridge’s Marriage the day before and we enjoyed a 7 course meal with fun and games the whole way through dinner. After we enjoyed entertainment by first class comedy and singing cabaret Mike Jerome and Paul Kaye-Jones known as “Fatman and the Tenor”, followed by Gordon Bennett and then a disco. With the raffle and some overwhelming donations made by other lodge members we raised almost £2000.  Thank you everyone from the bottom of our hearts

Friday 29th April – Funky Friday at the Victoria Pub, The Old Pond, Cheshunt
A Huge thank you to the Manager Kim and her assistant Amy, DJ Andy Kellati, Mark Wheeler and Mark Creswell (DJ Yid), James Jarvis, Terry & Stephen, Kellie Carpenter and a great bunch of revellers. Thanks to you all we raised a huge £550 for Toby’s Dream on Friday night, the DJ charged everyone for each song they requested and James and Mark dressed up as babies for the whole evening and collected money with Kellie who was dressed as a sailor. The atmosphere was electric and a very good night was had by all. Thanks guys for your help

Thursday 28th April – Coffee Morning
A huge thank you to Tanya the shop manager at Martins News Agents, Grove Hill for arranging a coffee and cake stall outside her store from 6am till 4pm to help raise money for Toby’s Dream. Tanya and her staff worked very hard all morning and raised a whopping £300 !!!! Thanks Tanya

OH Yes its Ladies Night – 9th April 2011
A truly fantastic night! The Drag Queen, Jet Black, was absolutely amazing, and had everyone in stitches from the start of his act through to the finish – Thanks Jet Black
 
Puppetry of the Penis was very entertaining, we didn’t realise men could do things like that with their bits.

Jason Hawkridge did an amazing job on the disco (donated FOC by Groomy) Thank you !

And the final treat for the ladies was an Officer and a Gentleman full monty stripper, he wasn’t only VERY yummy but he entertained 145 women and had their full attention as you can imagine ;)

A massive thank you to everyone for supporting us on the night and raising a massive £1438.48. We hope you will be back for the Hot Rods on Friday 1st July

20th March 2011 – Kids Fun day
Thank you to Lynn Hutchins for arranging a Fun day at the Old Edmontonians Football Club. Lynn has a huge fear of spiders and was sponsored to hold a Tarantula on Sunday to help raise funds for Toby’s Dream. Thanks to everyone that sponsored her - she was very brave :)

A fantastic day enjoyed by all. With the stalls and raffle and Lynn’s sponsorship Money we raised Just over £1300!

18th March 2011 - The Oddfellows Arms - Apsley
Live Band and Raffle
After seeing our story in the Hemel Gazette in February, Tina the new landlady at the Oddfellows Arms called to say her and her team of staff would love to do some fundraising for us and held a fantastic evening in our honour and raised £536 on the night through very kind donations by everyone at the Oddfellows Arms that evening. Thank you for your support

18th March 2011 - Red Nose Day at Holtsmere End School
Tobys Head Teacher Mrs Phillimore kindly suggested that the Children in The Infant School wear something Red for the day and donate £1 for Tobys Trust. Children were giving their weeks pocket money, they had been sponsored to Ride their bikes, make cakes, be silent and much much more. Thank you so much to everyone at Holtsmere End School and their families, you raised over £900 for Toby’s Dream

Christmas 2010 – Find Santa
We had a poster printed up and numbered 1-100 and Toby chose which number Santa was hiding in. Local companies and drivers paid £1 per square and guessed where Santa was. Once all the squares were filled Toby revealed what number he had chosen, which was number 89 and the Teddy was won by a Mike @ Electron Beam Services Ltd, Mike kindly gave us back the Teddy to raise more funds for Toby’s Dream. Thank you very much Mike.

Hair Today . . .gone Today!
On the last day of the Football season the family’s get together, Kids and all and celebrate in LT’s on Tottenham High Road. This year Toby joined us and everyone fell in love with him in the pub. The gentleman below kindly allowed Toby to shave off all his hair there and then in the pub. This raised £150 for Toby’s Dream. Thank you to the gent with no hair!
